"We tried the 3D Ouest Cemetery Management Software. The city of Lannion (Brittany, France) has 6 cemeteries and more than 8.000 tombs. For the record, the oldest one is from 1848!
In a few months, we traded our old heavy paper system with this brand new one. It was just a peek, as we were eager to try another way to handle things. The application has changed so many things that we would never let it go, no matter what. We had no idea how simple it was.
This software does not require IT skills, even if you don't have any. It is practical, complete and explicit. If we had to change a staff member, the new one would not be lost. He would find a tomb easily and use the main functions without any problem.
We can update the cemetery map by creating new plots and new tombs without asking 3D Ouest for it.
By working with 3D Ouest, we were granted the opportunity to ask for customizing. Thus the software met our special requirements.
The utmost asset of this online application is its mobility. All the services located in the town council office also have an access to the software. This helps them answering many procedures, like document access and information requests.
Our version of the application has a public interface for Web surfers. They can search for a deceased person and the location of its tomb on the cemetery plan. Families and undertaking businesses can find a rare amount of information about almost anything they want: it's an easy access to information data and time savings for their procedures.
It grants us time to do other tasks. Since we're quite experienced now, we can bring up an objective feedback about this change. Our management has been transformed."
